AI with guardrails.
Useful AI needs good data, human judgement and clear accountability.
Human in the loop
AI supports analysis and action. A named person remains accountable for important decisions and execution.
Don’t trust. Verify.
Outputs are starting points, not facts. Evidence, assumptions, and recommendations must be checked before use.
Data minimisation
Use only the information a task genuinely needs. Keep confidential, sensitive, and identifying data out of experiments.
Transparency
Make it clear where calculations end, AI interpretation begins, and human judgement takes over.
Clara
Digital AI-inspired assistant experience
Clara is a rule-based digital guide to the Lab, not a generative AI assistant. She helps visitors explore relevant Lab tools, clarify their question and prepare an email to the team; a human reads and responds to every email. Clara does not answer open-ended questions herself, no external AI model provider receives Clara interactions, and contact opens the visitor's own email application. A conversational version of Clara is a possible future development, not a live feature.
Commercial AI Director
AI-powered commercial decision support
The Director reads controlled, synthetic opportunity data through a read-only connection. Management questions may be processed through Lovable AI and OpenAI. Prompts and outputs are not intentionally persisted in the website database, while provider-side technical, security, and retention processing may apply.
Please do not submit confidential company information, trade secrets, passwords, credentials, special categories of personal data, or other sensitive information.
AI is easy.
Impact takes work.
From AI to Profit starts with the business problem, uses the minimum data required, separates calculated facts from AI interpretation, and keeps people responsible for the outcome.
